Things to do. Beyond the extraordinary array of culinary pleasures — both at the event and provided by the local Aspen restaurants — as well as the amazing array of exquisite wines, I find that the Classic provides an invaluable connection with a community that is open to learning from each other and always striving for excellence. Coming back this year, I am most looking forward to seeing familiar faces again and making connections with new ones! Victoria often keeps a stash of an Australian hangover cure.

It results from a unique convergence of factors: the crystalline blue skies, the heady mountain air, ample amounts of day drinking, and the general feeling among everyone that there is nowhere else that they would rather be.

This will be my 12th year 11th festival since the event was canceled and it remains one of the best weekends of my year because, unlike so many festivals I have attended, the level of passion brought by the attending chefs and wine and spirits experts is unparalleled. They come not just for fun, but to learn and experience the best of what the food and beverage industry has to offer.

Take all of that passion, add the gorgeous Rocky Mountain views and unique Aspen vibes, and the result is one magical weekend. Your financial contribution supports our efforts to deliver quality, locally relevant journalism.

Now more than ever, your support is critical to help us keep our community informed about the evolving coronavirus pandemic and the impact it is having locally. Every contribution, however large or small, will make a difference. There are more than 80 events at the Aspen Food and Wine Classic, so it is impossible to attend them all. Each has been carefully curated and are run by some of the biggest names in the food and beverage industry.

You can choose one event per time slot; spots are limited, so it is best to choose your desired seminars and demonstrations as soon as possible. Seating is first come, first served so we recommend getting to each event early enough to get your desired viewing point. There are multiple tiers of passes , each offering more than the last. If you just want the basics of the seminars and access to the Grand Tasting Pavilion, any tier will do.

Local tip: We recommend getting your passes and booking your stay with Aspen Signature Properties as soon as possible.
